MEOC is now hiring!

MEOC is now accepting applications for an Advisor I-II position, with a territory that includes Hancock and Washington counties.

Our partner program, the Maine Educational Talent Search, also has two positions available. Both are Advisor I-II positions, one  based out of Lake Region HS and MS in Naples, and the other serves Central (Corinth), Nokomis (Newport), and Searsport middle and high schools.

Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until a suitable pool of candidates is found.

New Gerontology Program at York County Community College

This fall, YCCC is introducing a new Gerontology program, which offers both a certificate and Associates degree. This program will provides training that prepares students for direct service careers working with elderly populations, such as in senior citizen homes or retirement communities. As an added bonus, depending on elective choices, this is a program that can be completed almost completely online.
